2 strategies to help you stay on track while travelling

Right now I’m on vacation visiting my family so I thought a couple of strategies I’ve been doing to help me stay on track.
1. I always use Airbnb.com to book my accommodation

Why?

Because you need a kitchen with all the facilities of a home to prepare your meals and snacks.

You’ll also have a fridge to keep your foods fresh and a pantry to store in.

Plus a washing machine to wash your dirty work out gear.

It works out to be price comparative, not as fancy, but way more valuable to me.

2. I use Youtube for my workouts.

Sometimes I’m handy to a local gym and that’s great, but most times it’s too far and inconvenient to get to.

Plus usually when I’m travelling I have a crazy schedule and earlier morning starts.

So I was looking for a workout that would push me and also give me variety.

I found Fitness Blender.com

The thing that makes this channel different from the others is the clean video on a white background so I’m not distracted. They have a timer so I know how long before I’m changing to the next exercise. In their newer videos they have a small window to the top left of the screen which shows the next exercise so I can anticipate it and get the most out of my workout without having to stop.

They also give the approximate calorie burn per work out.

And also they have a huge variety such as workouts using only body weight, Pilates, strength training, short burn out sessions. And these are all ranging from as short as 5 mins to over 1 hour.

Here are my favourite ones that I have been using on this trip.
